- With a RAID 1 or RAID 5 hard disc system the likelihood of data loss due to a defective hard disc decreases considerably. Nevertheless, data loss with a RAID system cannot be excluded entirely. We therefore strongly recommend that you regularly secure your data by doing backups.
Flexi Pack. When ordering a RAID controller for the Dedicated Root Server EX 8 the Flexi-Pack is not required.
